On June 28, the General Administration of Customs announced that in order to further promote the healthy and orderly development of cross-border e-commerce and help enterprises better explore the international market, it decided to copy and promote the B2B export supervision pilot of cross-border e-commerce in the national customs on the basis of the existing pilot customs.
Cross border e-commerce enterprises, cross-border e-commerce platform enterprises, logistics enterprises and other domestic enterprises participating in cross-border e-commerce B2B export business shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the customs declaration unit for filing, handle the filing with the local customs. The announcement will come into force on July 1, 2021.
Mutual recognition of self-service printing preferential certificate of origin between China, Thailand and Mauritius
On June 17, the General Administration of Customs issued announcement No. 43 of 2021. From July 1, certificates of origin under the framework agreement on comprehensive economic cooperation between the people's Republic of China and the association of Southeast Asian Nations and the free trade agreement between the government of the people's Republic of China and the government of the Republic of Mauritius will be added to Thailand as self printable certificates.
If an enterprise applies for the certificate of origin under the China ASEAN Free Trade Agreement and the destination countries are Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, the enterprise can print the certificate by itself without manual signature and seal. If the destination country is other ASEAN countries, the way to apply for the certificate remains unchanged, and the certificate still needs to be manually signed and sealed.
Implementation of new EU VAT regulations
From July 1, the EU's new e-commerce VAT regulations will come into effect. After the regulations come into effect, VAT will be collected when the goods arrive at the destination country or region of the recipient, and only VAT declaration through a single window is required, so as to avoid the registration, collection and payment of VAT at different rates in several countries or regions of the EU. Agent system of CE mark products in EU
